What matters in supercar insurance?
Supercar insurance should not be assessed on the basis of power output, engine capacity or list price alone. With limited models, special editions, high-end classics and individually configured vehicles in particular, the market value, the replacement value and special features of the specification can be decisive.
As part of our personal advice we look in particular at:
- The current vehicle value and any existing valuation reports
- The model variant, optional extras and any modifications
- Annual mileage and intended use
- The age, experience and number of authorised drivers
- Garage, storage location and security arrangements
- Seasonal registration and laid-up periods
- Financing, leasing or ownership
- Trips abroad, transport and, where applicable, international use
Acceptance of the contract, the scope of cover and the premium are always assessed individually. The application, the policy document and the policy terms and conditions applicable in each case are decisive.
